Creative Business of the Year 2003
Cami achieved 1st place in the 'Creative Business of the Year 2003' competition - organized by UNIZO Ostend region. The jury mainly appreciated the efforts made in support of the framing industry: organization of a trade fair (BAFTs, later Framexpo), organization of seminars & workshops, board member and driving force behind the BFA (Belgian Framing Association), etc...
Guild Commended Framer - November 1999
In 1999, to give the Belgian framing sector a helping hand, Cami contacted the British FATG (Fine Art Trade Guild). The aim was to unite and support our sector. These efforts later resulted in the setting up of the BFA (Belgian Framing Association). In 1999, Cami's managing director (Kris Casier) became the first Belgian to be awarded the certificate of GCF (Guild Commended Framer) - a recognition of expertise in professional picture framing.
Finalist self-employed entrepreneur of the Year 1995
Cami won the regional selection and became one of the 10 finalists in the National Competition for 'Self-employed Entrepreneur of the Year 1995' - organized by the LVZ and the Kredietbank. The jury praised the structured organization of our small company and the way in which Cami had achieved growth at the expense of larger competitors in the marketplace.
